After 10 years of careful analysis of the many dampers available we are proud to introduce the Ultra Damper, the first new damper technology in 25 years. The Ultra Damper uses 3D technology to resolve all of the short comings of dampers previously available. 3D technology gives our dampers the ability to dampen torsional & lateral crank movement and in an industry first the Ultra Damper dampens orbital motion. The third and final dimension is our dampers ability to fully dampen crank thrust. The last ability of the Ultra Damper is to absorb all crank harmonic frequencies without specific tuning. The Ultra Damper handles all RPM bands and HP levels.

The Ultra Damper incorporates lightweight materials by using aluminum for its outer case. By incorporating aluminum the Ultra Damper frees up HP because its weight it focused toward the center of the crank, this means its moment of inertia is much lower allowing the engine to rev faster responding to your throttle inputs with more precision. Ultimately the reduced moment of inertia simply allows more power to transfer to your drive wheels. We only use steel hubs to mount the Ultra Damper on the crank allowing us to maintain interference fit which is absolutely necessary for a damper to absorb all the torsional movement and frequencies produced by the crankshaft.

For late model applications with belt drive/s we machine the Ultra Dampers in stock diameter for use with superchargers. The benefits of underdriving are still available through the purchase of an Ultra Damper pulley set which includes the alternator, power steering and water pump pulleys (accessory pulleys vary by application). The accessory pulleys are underdriven which frees up more power to the wheels by slowing down the over spinning of the accessories. We test each application to ensure that accessory output remains within factory specified minimums. If you’ve already purchased the Ultra Damper the accessories are available separately as accessory pulleys.

The Ultra Damper will only be available once the patent is approved, we are hoping for the process to be completed by the end of 2009.
