VW Jetta GLX (VR6)

"I purchased a set of Ultra Series pulleys about two months ago, and I finally made it to the dyno. The only other difference in the car since the last dyno run besides the pulleys is a lightened flywheel (3 lbs..). The difference at the dyno was expected, but still quite surprising. Power is up 3 to 15 hp throughout the entire rpm band. Horsepower at peak is up 10. Torque followed suit with a 3 to 10 lb-ft increase across the power band with an incredible 10 lb-ft increase at just 1300 rpms. I can honestly say that I was very impressed. FYI: The dyno runs were done on a Dynojet Dynamometer located at J&M Corvette in Manchester, CT. All pulls were done in fourth gear."

The stock VW crank pulley weighs 3,040 grams versus 450.0 from Unorthodox, the stock VW alternator pulley weights 374.0 grams versus 122.5 from you, and stock p/s pulley weights 487.0 versus 335.0 from you. A total of almost 6 pounds in weight savings. I put the set in my car and now it revs quicker and hits 7,200 rpms much easier. I have to admit that I never expect such quality from companies that make pulleys for a lot of cars but you just proved me wrong. Excellent job.
